CURRENT CHAPTER
The Tragedy of South Clemson, Part 4

Welp, we're a week late but here it is: the finale. Before you read our thoughts below, I recommend heading over to the story now for a quick review from start to finish.

Go on! This is what you've been waiting for! The whole tale, no interruptions, right here.

...well, did you like it? I sure hope so!

When I set out to write Folklore's first round of short stories I had a few major goals in mind. I wanted to explore places far from the main cast, and I wanted to expand and more clearly define the rules behind the monsters we'd see more of in the future. These shorts are a chance for me to experiment with a lot of different storytelling styles, but overall the characters we grew familiar with were heroes. Maybe they're heroes by chance or circumstance, but still heroic.

This time around, we're going to be focusing more on the bad guys. People who are perhaps tragic in some ways, perhaps shortsighted in others. I like to think I hit my target in Eileen - a woman pushed to the edge, rapidly realizing that in this unstable new world, she doesn't need to be forced to walk off of it.

You can expect future short stories will follow people from Folklore's darker regions. Folk who made a living on the wrong side of the law, or who eventually found themselves there over time. Colin and I have a few fun ideas for what to work on next, but that's far into the future.

We really appreciate your patience when it comes to getting this full story out there. We know our updates have been a little delayed. Our full time jobs are kicking our butts...but we'll focus on talking about that next week!
